CW4 (Ret.) Terry A. O’Brien is a highly accomplished aviation and survivability executive with more than 28 years of distinguished service in the United States Army, bringing unmatched expertise in rotary-wing aviation, aircraft maintenance, medical evacuation, and operational survivability. As Executive Director for Survivability Solutions at Cashimee Protective Services, he leads the design and execution of integrated survivability programs that protect personnel, preserve life, and ensure mission continuity in high-risk and austere environments.

Throughout his career, Terry served as a Rotary Wing Pilot, Maintenance Test Pilot, Aviation Survivability Officer, and Combat MEDEVAC Pilot, operating across complex operational theaters where precision, safety, and rapid decision-making were critical to mission success. His dual mastery of aviation maintenance and flight operations uniquely positions him to oversee airworthiness, flight risk management, and survivability engineering—ensuring aviation platforms and crews operate at the highest standards under demanding conditions.

Terry’s extensive experience as a Medical Evacuation Planner and Combat MEDEVAC Pilot includes planning and executing casualty evacuation and life-saving missions in contested and disaster-affected environments. He has led medical evacuation operations that required seamless coordination among aviation assets, ground forces, medical teams, and command elements—often under time-sensitive, hostile conditions where survivability was paramount.

In addition to combat aviation, Terry is highly experienced in disaster response planning, operations, and execution, supporting humanitarian relief, emergency response, and large-scale contingency operations. His background includes integrating aviation lift, medical evacuation, logistics, and risk mitigation into comprehensive disaster-response frameworks that support both government and civilian missions.

At Cashimee, Terry leads the Survivability Solutions portfolio, integrating aviation survivability, MEDEVAC and CASEVAC planning, disaster response operations, and operational risk mitigation into the company’s Prevent–Protect–Prepare framework. He works closely with executive leadership, operations, logistics, EMSO/UAS teams, and disaster-health security leadership to ensure Cashimee clients and personnel benefit from best-in-class survivability planning and execution.
